Nigerian-born South African starlet Jayden Adetiba has joined Arsenal after impressing on trial for the Gunners.
Adetiba, who previously played for the SuperSport United Soccer School, reportedly spent five weeks with Arsenal before joining the North London club.
“I thank God and my parents for this. I am very happy,” the youngster from Cape Town was quoted as saying by The Sun.
“I train three times a week at the academy and we have a match at the weekend.
“The amazing thing is, I have always been an Arsenal fan and I will work hard every day to make the first team.”
Adetiba revealed that he idolises Cristiano Ronaldo for his work ethic and Alex Iwobi for making it into Arsenal’s first team out of the Gunners’ academy.
