Three officials of the Kano Sate government have tendered their resignation. This is coming barely weeks after the former Governor of Kano Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso abandoned the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, APC to People Democratic Party, PDP.
The trio are Yakubu Alhajiji Nagoda Special Assistant to Governor on graveyards, Abdulhadi Zubairu Chula, Phd Special Adviser NGOs, Kassim Usman Bichi-P.A Education office of the deputy governor.
While Bichi cited his mentors resignation as the reason why he is leaving the government, chula said it is on personal grounds and educational pursuit, Nagoda didn’t state any reason.
Speaking with Nigerwatch Newspaper, the Kano State Commissioner of information, Garba Muhammad said ” everybody is free to resign, some people are leaving and some are coming in, anybody who is not willing to stay is free to go ”
on whether they have dropped the Kwankwasiyya red cap, the commissioner replied “the red cap have has been dropped for the past two years, anyone in kano knows that, what people put on now are variety of colours – white, black and so on… ”
