ADP condemns Governor Abubakar Sani Bello over teacher’s suspension

The Action Democratic Party Niger State has said ”Criticism is not just an unavoidable ingredient for the development of any society, it as well draws ones attention to his areas of weaknesses and by extension Governments and leaders in power. It is dictatorial to fight critics anywhere”

This was contained in the reaction of the Chairman Action Democratic Party ADP Niger State,  Alhaji Tanimu Sarki Kwamba over the suspension of a Teacher by name Comrade Saba Mohammed Wanigi in Agaie who only in the spirit of comradeship says let the right thing be done at least for the sake of the poor masses who clamoured for change by voting this Government into power.

In a statement released by Publicity Secretary of the party, the ADP Chairman condemned Governor Abubakar Sani Bello’s action in this regard and described it as an infringement on the Comrade Wanigi’s Fundamental right to freedom of expression. The ADP Chairman further laments how a democratically elected Leader would fight critics forgetting that he is a child borne out of opposition struggle hence, Governor Bello must allow criticism to flourish if at all he is ready to offer responsive Leadership.

Mr. Kwanba said ”at this juncture I call on Nigerlites not to be deterred by the suspension of Comrade Baba Mohammed wanigi, to keep up the struggle until Nigerlites see the value/worth of all financial receipts from the Federal Government by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello Administration.”

The chairman then called on Gov. Abubakar Sani Bello to see comrade Wanigi as one exercising his fundamental right while suspending him in this holy month only adds to the suffering currently faced by the poor masses, hence called on the Governor to “review immediately that decision” noting that the poor teacher could also become Governor tomorrow.
